Icons on the move

Many thanks to Fr Michael McCoy who rescued the icons at SS Peter and Paul`s, Longbenton and took them to St Anne`s, Pennywell, Sunderland. He has kindly sent me some photos of the icons in their new location. I`m pleased they have gone to a good home!



Here`s a reminder of how they looked at Longbenton.

    Beautiful icons but look at the mess in the sanctuary. Missal and stand on the altar next to the monstrance!
